Most of our 2007 engagements are within the Torbay area, and include the ever-popular Brixham Quayside concerts in the summer. Also included in the 2007 list is a concert arranged in Cornwall in May, completing an exchange with the Marazion Male Voice Choir. This date is closely followed in June with our 53rd Annual Concert (please note the rescheduled timing from the traditional October month). Our Annual Concert this year will be shared with the Macclesfield Male Voice Choir. In October the Orpheus visits Germany again to stay in Torbay's twin town of Hameln for our 11th exchange visit with the "Liedertafel Hameln von 1837" Male Voice Choir since the two choirs first met in 1974. The "Liedertafel Hameln von 1837" are celebrating an amazing 170 years of singing.

The Choir CD entitled "Eventide" still has a popular demand and the choir has had to re-order two additional batches to keep up with orders. This CD is available at the Tourist Information Centres in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. We have a very active and flourishing "Friends of the Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir" group, who will always welcome prospective new members. Mr Douglas Bell is our Co-ordinator for this group and will be pleased to discuss details and answer queries. Mr Bell can be contacted on 01803 853064.
